Short biography:
Shelby Prindaville is currently an Instructor of Record at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA, and will complete her Masters in Fine Arts from the LSU Painting and Drawing Program in May 2013.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in fine arts with a concentration in sculpture from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA in 2008. Her ecologically-focused work in two- and three-dimensional media combines her interests in the sciences and art. This interest extends to her collaboration with LSU Chemistry Professor John A. Pojman, which has led to the development of new polymer clays used in her sculptures.

Her solo graduate thesis show will take place April 22-26, 2013 in Foster Gallery in Baton Rouge and is open to the public.  The closing reception will be April 26th from 6-8pm.
