As I previously shared, I had a good friend who was coming to visit me in Berlin for a few days towards the end of my stay, so I saved as many of the main tourism agenda items as I could. It was intense! We walked an average of 11mi a day for four days, and in doing so, we saw:

We also made sure to visit Rausch Schokoladenhaus & Sawade Berlin for a couple chocolate breaks in between memorial visits - they are both excellent, I highly recommend both. Of the Holocaust-related sites, my first recommendation is the Jewish Museum, followed by the Holocaust Memorial. In terms of art galleries, I visited the above as well as a bunch that didn’t overlap in availability with my friend’s stay (including the Boros Collection, Sammlung Hoffmann, Hamburger Bahnhof, and some smaller private galleries). My favorites were KINDL and KÖNIG GALERIE. I also like what Atelierhof Kreuzberg is doing. Between the Boros Collection and Sammlung Hoffmann, I preferred the latter.
